Do I need a student visa to come to Canada? If so, what should I do to get a visa?

Questions about General Immersion and Business courses.
When do courses start?
New courses start on the first Monday of every month. If this Monday is a holiday, classes will start on Tuesday.
Students can join an ongoing course provided they meet language level requirements and take a placement test.
How old are your students?
The average age is 26.
Students under 16 must provide written parental authorization. Students must be at least 16 years of age to attend courses at AXION 21. Most of our students are professionals and business people.
If I learn French in Quebec, will I be understood in France and in other French-speaking countries?
At AXION 21, we offer international French courses with universal French vocabulary and grammar. If there is any difference in the meaning of a word or an expression, the teacher will always provide the forms of expression used internationally.
Can you give a description of your courses?
We study all the aspects of Language Communication, but the main focus of our programs is the development of efficient oral communication.

· Listening comprehension
· Vocabulary and structure (Grammar is given mainly in the form of oral structures and practical exercises).
· Written expression, Reading comprehension, homework assignments
· Courses also include films, role playing, case studies, presentations, and other activities
If I register for a regular collective course, can I speed up my learning process by taking extra private tuition, once I get to Montreal?.
Yes, you can add some hours of private tuition. We will bill you for the corresponding number of hours.
Questions about host families
Where does my host family live?
We are located downtown. Some host families live at a walking distance from the school and others in the Greater Montreal area. Good public transportation is available anywhere in the city. A bus or metro ride to the school will usually take from 10 to 45 minutes.
A monthly metro and bus pass is available.
Who is my host family?
A traditional family with or without children;
A woman living alone or with a teenager/young adult (son or daughter);
A man living alone or with a teenager/young adult (son or daughter);
All our families are chosen according to the following criteria: room privacy, Internet access, food quality, family surroundings, and ability to communicate in the target language.
Are you accredited by the Government of Canada?
Yes, we are. We are certified by the Government of Canada and by the Provincial Government of Quebec. We are also recognized by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry CCIP.
